Our Story
Orangutan Tanjung Puting Trip was founded in 2015 by Faris, a passionate young local from Kumai. Having worked as a klotok crew member from a young age, he saw firsthand the beauty of the jungle and the need to protect it.
Starting with a single family boat, Faris gathered a team of local experts and created a tour that was more than just sightseeing — it was about education, sustainability, and heartfelt experiences.
Now, we are proud to welcome guests from all over the world to explore the wonders of Tanjung Puting with care and respect.
